This is a digital commission featuring a young Count Dooku and a not so young Master Yoda. The buyer's only request was that the piece feature Jedi, so I was free to come up with my own idea for the piece. Best job in the world, I'm tellin' ya.
Here's the scenario I came up with:
"Three decades before The Phantom Menace, Yoda and his apprentice Dooku were sent on a mission to Tatooine to investigate the Igreb Hutt clan's attempt to influence galactic politics. But our heroes were led into a trap and ambushed by two Swoop riding assassins just outside of Mos Espa. The Jedi made short work of the hired killers. The Hutts would live to regret their nefarious activities . . ."
The original line art measures 7 1/2 x 14 inches and was drawn on Bristol using Micron pens. The final artwork was colored in Photoshop CS4 using a Wacom Cintiq 21UX.
