A wider format makes all the difference, don't you think? It's like widescreen vs standard when it comes to film: there's just something about that aspect ratio that I love. This is a high speed recordings of me inking and coloring my first Big Fat Sketch Card (he song is, of course, "Yoda" by Weird Al Yankovic):
The cards are the same size as other wide trading cards that have been on the market for a while now (2 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches) and each card will be sold with a wide Top Loader plastic holder. They are drawn using Micron pens and Prismacolor markers & pencils.
I will start selling these as part of my next big sale in the first week of November. But those lucky enough to be attending the Non-Sport Card Show in Allentown, Pennsylvania this weekend will get a chance to buy the first Big Fat Sketch Cards! I'll be bringing some pre-drawn cards o the show as well as taking a limited number of custom card orders on Saturday to be delivered the next day at the show. The price for the cards at the Allentown show will be $20 per card (the regular price for these cards come November will be $30).
See you in Allentown!
