I am now a Mac user, for this beauty now rests atop the desk in my office:

It was time to upgrade to a new computer and upgrade I did, much to my wife's delight. You see, she is a Mac user and I am (well, was) a PC user. Since our first meeting, she has attempted to convert me to the Mac Cult, the Church of Latter Day Saints of Steve Jobs. She baited the hook when I started using the music editing and creation program GarageBand on her old laptop. She must have known that it was only a matter of time before I completely turned to the dark side.
So I am now an official Mac Head. And I'm now working on, surfing on, playing on and completely loving the fastest, most robust and pleasurable personal computer I've ever known. It's a powerhouse. Photoshop loads, quite literally, in 4 seconds (yes, I timed it).
Here are the specs, of my new Mac Pro: Two 2.8 GHz quad-core Intel Xeon processors with dual-independent 1600 MHz front side buses, 2 GB RAM expandable up to 32 GB, 320 GB hard drive, 16x Double-Layer SuperDrive, ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256MB (Two dual-link DVI), Two FireWire 800 ports, two FireWire 400 ports, five USB 2.0 ports, and two USB 2.0 ports on keyboard, Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard (includes Time Machine, Quick Look, Spaces,
Spotlight, Dashboard, Mail, iChat, Safari, Address Book, QuickTime,
iCal, DVD Player, Photo Booth, Front Row, Xcode Developer Tools), iLife
'08 (includes iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD, iWeb, and GarageBand), and of course, I got the 23" inch Cinema display monitor (it just wouldn't be a Mac without it).
I'm truly in heaven right now and my wife is happy to have finally converted me to the faith. All praise be unto Steve. Amen.
