Cheesecake: "Ariel"

 
Check it out . . . my third watercolor illustration!

The painting features the character Ariel from "The Little Mermaid".  It measures 9x12 inches and was painted on Strathmore cold press 140lb paper with watercolor and white acrylic.  It was inked with Micron Sepia pens.

UPDATE: I realized that the highlight on her "leg" was wrong and dove in to try and correct it. Screwed up a little, but I think it looks better.

Cheesecake: "Sorsha"

Check it out . . . first watercolor painting ever.

Yep.

I pulled a book on watercolor from my wife's bookshelf while I was on vacation and I thought I'd try my hand at the medium.  I like the results.  Maybe I'll do more.

The painting features the character Sorsha from the fantasy film "Willow" (written by George Lucas and directed by Ron Howard).  It measures 9x12 inches and was painted on Strathmore cold press 140lb paper.  It was inked with Micron Sepia pens.
