I've been busy with various projects lately and I thought I'd update everyone on what I've been up to.
-As some of my artcast and Twitter followers know, I've recently been hired as an artist for the web series called How It Should Have Ended! I recently finished the artwork for my first short:
Go HERE to watch the short on Machnima's YouTube account.
Thanks go out to Daniel and Tina for taking a chance on a new artist for the series.I was a fan of this series well before I was ever offered the chance to be a part of it. It's been a thrill to get a chance to have my artwork added to the line up of shorts.
And special thanks to Daniel for doing an amazing job on bringing my stick figures to life with his crazy animation skills. I can't wait to work on the next one!
-I'm working on new pages of Escape From Planet Nowhere. Yes, the webcomic is still alive and it will begin updating again on September 4th. When it resumes, I should be well ahead of schedule. I apologize for leaving folks in limbo for so long, but real life had to take a front row seat for a while . . . ya can't be a webcomicker if you don't have food & shelter.
Also, I've added Escape From Planet Nowhere work to my artcast schedule (usually on Wednesdays), so if you'd like to stop by and see me working on new pages, you can now do that.
-I will be starting a new webcomic on September 5th!
Go HERE to see some artwork and read some information about the new series.
I will be having a "launch party" for The Song of Xanthia on my artcast on September 5th. I'll be giving away prizes during the show and will complete an entire page on camera. More info about this soon!
-Work on Starship Kansas, the comic I'm drawing that was written by Josh Howard, continues (at a slower pace than I'd hoped, but it continues) and I hope to have news about that very soon.
-And finally, I will be posting a lot of new commission artwork this week and next, including the second original Indiana Jones story, The Commandos of Operation Plato!
-Otis
